Can you add gift cards to our existing WooCommerce website?
Yes. If your shop runs on WordPress and WooCommerce, we can add Podium Cards to the website you already have. Your customers can buy gift cards from your site, with the gift card setup connected to Podium Cards. Speak to us about your current website and we will explain the setup.
What is Podium Cards?
Podium Cards gives independent businesses an online shop for branded digital gift cards. Customers can buy a gift, personalise it and arrange email delivery. Your team can manage and redeem those cards through the platform.
Can we sell gift cards without a new website?
Yes. You can use a dedicated Podium Cards shop and share its link from your existing website or social profiles. There is also a WordPress option for businesses that want to offer gift cards within their own site.
How do payments reach our business?
Gift card payments go to your own connected Stripe account. Transfers from Stripe to your bank follow the payout schedule on that account. Podium Cards does not hold your gift card revenue.
Can customers choose when their gift arrives?
Yes. They can send a gift card immediately or choose a later delivery date. They can also add a personal message. Cards can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet after delivery.
How does redemption work?
Staff can scan the card’s quick response code with a phone or enter its code in the platform, then record the amount used. If the customer spends only part of the value, the balance remains on the card.
Is there a monthly subscription?
There is no monthly subscription, setup fee or contract. The current Podium Cards platform fee is 3% plus 30p per card sold in pounds, with Stripe card processing charged separately. Check the product site for the current pricing and full details.
Will this demo send a real gift card?
No. The embedded demo is here to show the customer journey. It does not take payments, create gift cards, store the details you enter or send emails. Start selling takes you to business registration on the real Podium Cards platform.
