Bib Gourmand for this incredible Belfast Eatery

Edo is a fantastic tapas restaurant in the heart of Belfast, Northern Ireland. They were recently awarded chef of the year 2023, and proudly boast a ‘Bib Gourmand’ from the prestigious Michelin company.

In 2021 Jonny and Lottie from Edo were referred to us as their existing provider was charging them through the nose, refusing to update basic spelling mistakes and generally giving poor service.

We rebuilt their existing website and made the menu editable so that they could control the content. We also introduced a Gift Card loyalty system which has proved wildly popular and generates significant revenue for the restaurant. 

Podium then identified that all the previous bookings to the restaurant were not being ‘touched’ after leaving. We introduced an email newsletter that helps get the word out about updated menus, special events and helps rally the crowd with public awards. We were able to show a significant bump in bookings since introducing the email newsletter, ensuring that the restaurant is booked out weeks in advance. 

In a time where restaurants are struggling, closing and operating in an extremely tough environment, we’re delighted to be a part of helping Edo Restaurant succeed online.
